1. What data we process
When you contact us by email or in connection with submitting or managing a listing, we may process your name, email address, and message content. Technical data such as IP address and server logs are recorded automatically to operate the website securely.
Anonymous or pseudonymous information about traffic and website use is processed only after you give voluntary consent through the cookie banner.
2. Why we use the data
We use data to answer messages and handle potential cooperation, to operate and administer the website securely, and — only with consent — to measure visits and improve content.
The legal basis is your consent for analytics, steps taken prior to potential cooperation at your request, and our legitimate interest in security and proper communication.
3. Cookies and traffic analytics
We store only the necessary record of your cookie-banner choice (accepting or rejecting analytics) in your browser's local storage, so that the banner is not shown on every visit.
Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics may be activated only after your explicit consent. Refusing analytics cookies does not restrict normal use of the website. You can change your choice by clearing this website's stored browser data; the banner will then appear again.
4. Who can process the data
Data may be accessed only by people operating and developing ThinkAsimov, the hosting and technical-infrastructure provider, and — after consent — Google as the analytics-service provider. Google may process some data outside the EEA using GDPR safeguards.
5. How long we retain data
Email communication is retained for the time needed to handle the matter, for no longer than 12 months after the last communication unless the law requires longer. Hosting and security logs are retained as necessary for security and operation. Analytics-data retention follows Google Analytics settings.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdrawal of consent for analytics. You may also lodge a complaint with the Czech Data Protection Authority.
